APPLICATIONS

REFINING

İkor provides engineered valve solutions for downstream, midstream, and upstream operations—meeting the highest standards in refining, gas transmission, and petrochemicals. From distillation and hydrotreating to steam, hydrocracking, and sulfur recovery, our valves ensure full compliance with emission, corrosion, and abrasion requirements.

We supply Gate, Globe, and Check Valves in all pressure classes and materials, with bolted, welded, or pressure seal bonnets, all to the latest API standards. Packing materials are tested, at minimum, to API 622 standards for fugitive emissions.

For hydrocarbon transport, our fire-safe Ball and Plug Valves offer tight shut-off, high-cycle durability in critical services like coker isolation, FCCU, and pump protection.

POWER GENERATION

Power plants rely on steam to convert thermal energy into electricity through turbines and generators. To ensure peak efficiency and avoid costly shutdowns, preventing steam loss is critical.

İkor supplies isolation valves engineered for power generation, meeting EN 12266-1 Rate A (zero visible leakage) to eliminate performance losses. In partnership with trusted manufacturers, our valves come with 24–36 month warranties and are built for reliability under high pressure and temperature.

For severe service, we offer solid Stellite seat inserts—far more durable than common 3 mm overlays. Our designs also allow for in-line maintenance, reducing downtime and ensuring continuous operation.

CHEMICALS

We deliver tailored valve and piping solutions for the chemical industry, supporting processes such as sulfuric acid, chlor-alkali, and fertilizer production, while meeting specific application demands and safety requirements.

Our scope includes Lined Valves, Pipes & Fittings built for highly corrosive media, offering long service life and dependable performance.
We also supply Euro-Chlor approved valves specifically for chlorine and chlor-alkali systems.

In abrasive and corrosive environments like brine handling or fertilizer production, we specify robust Diaphragm and Plug Valves—selected for their durability, chemical resistance, and safe operation in continuous and high-cycle processes.

SEAWATER

Seawater poses unique challenges due to salinity, conductivity, and solids content. İkor delivers corrosion-resistant valve solutions tailored to your process, offering Butterfly Valves (DN 50–3000) in concentric and double-eccentric designs, along with Plug and Diaphragm Valves for desalination and seawater handling.

All valves feature ISO 12944 C5M-rated coatings. Seat options include EPDM, NBR, and Hypalon for chemically dosed lines. Discs are available in Super Duplex, Ni–Al Bronze, or EPDM-coated CF8M—selected based on performance, budget, and lead time requirements.

MINING

Mining applications involve abrasive slurries and chemically aggressive media, particularly in heap leach and tailings systems. We provide Metal-Seated Ball Valves for acid leach circuits, offering long service life and reliable shut-off under harsh conditions.

For general slurry and abrasive services, we recommend Knife Gate Valves with various seat, body, and actuation options—tailored to match process demands such as solids content, pressure, and temperature, ensuring safe and efficient flow control.

PULP & PAPER

We supply Plug, Ball, and a complete range of Knife Gate Valves for pulp and paper processes, addressing the needs of fiber slurries, chemicals, and high-cycle operations. Valve types are selected based on specific process stages and media characteristics.

Special configurations are available for severe services like Junk Trap and Sand Trap lines, where abrasion resistance and reliability are critical. Each solution is engineered to reduce downtime and ensure stable operation across all pulp and paper applications.

Products

Plug Valves

We supply a wide range of high-quality Plug Valves designed for demanding media in chemical processing and refinery operations. Available in Sleeved, Lubricated, Heat Jacketed, and Lift Plug configurations, our valves comply with ANSI and DIN standards.

Plug Valves are known for their zero-leakage performance, lowest fugitive emissions, and exceptional reliability in critical services. Their robust design makes them ideal for handling corrosive, abrasive, high-temperature, and crystallizing media media with confidence.

Butterfly Valves

We offer a broad range of Butterfly Valves in centric, double-offset, and triple-offset designs, compliant with ASME, DIN, and EN norms. Available in sizes from 2″ to 120″ (DN50–DN3000) and pressure classes up to ASME Class 600 / PN100.

Ideal for seawater, steam, chemical, and refinery services, these valves feature low-torque operation, various lining options, and customizable trims. Manual, pneumatic, and electric actuation options are available.

Gate Globe Check Valves

İkor supplies all types of Gate, Globe, and Check (GGC) valves, primarily in ANSI standards, covering both small-bore forged and large-bore cast designs. A wide range of bonnet configurations—including bolted, welded, pressure-seal, and bonnetless—is available across all sizes and up to ANSI Class 4500.

For power generation, we offer zero-leakage Globe Valves engineered for critical isolation services, ensuring maximum uptime and safety. Control Valves are also available for demanding duties such as spray water regulation and temperature control.

Seamless Pipes

By collaborating with leading manufacturers worldwide and with reputable stockists across Europe, we deliver seamless pipes primarily for power plants and refineries.

We specialize in sourcing hard-to-find dimensions and grades—including P91, P22, 16Mo3, 10CrMo9-10, and others—with rapid lead times, often within two weeks. Our offering also includes cold-drawn seamless pipes for applications requiring tight dimensional tolerances and superior surface finish.

Ball Valves

A wide selection of Floating and Trunnion-Mounted Ball Valves, including top-entry, cryogenic, jacketed, and multi-port designs in both ASME and DIN/EN standards are available in sizes from ½” to 40″ (DN15–DN1000) and pressure classes up to ASME Class 2500 / PN100.

Our Ball Valves are certified for fire safety (API 607, API 6FA) and low emissions (ISO 15848-1 / TA-Luft), with SIL and ATEX compliance. Material options include WCB, CF8M, F316L, 1.4462, and titanium alloys, with metal or Teflon seats.
